Expedition Fundraiser To Tanzania

Posted Tuesday October 16th, 2018, 11:49 am

Josh, a local school boy to our Head Office, is on a long journey to raising £4000 to travel out to Tanzania for a month in summer 2019, to provide help to the local communities and improve there way of life. He will be travelling with the ‘Camps International’ company who specialise in these expeditions. Once out there he will be helping generations of children by helping to build a new school and kindergarten. He will also be learning new skills by constructing vitally needed community housing, in the traditional way, from locally sourced materials. He will also be installing new water facilities to provide fresh drinking water to the local people. Animals are a vital source of income so he will be also digging animal waterholes, deworming livestock and helping the rangers protect vulnerable wildlife from poachers. Nearly half of the population lives on less than $1 a day. This trip will give him the opportunity to make a real difference.

GPC74 have sponsored Josh on this fantastic expedition and in return our logo will feature on his t-shirt that he will wear at all his fundraising events.

We shall update our news feed with more information shortly, but in the mean time if you would like to help Josh get to his target please go to his Go Fund Me webpage.
