Administrator
Permanent, Full-Time / Part-Time Position
Circa £18,000 – £24,000 dependent on experience (Pro Rata)

GPC74 is an expanding Company specialising in Construction, Retail Fit Out, Groundworks, Maintenance and Professional Services. You will be based at our Head Office in rural South Shropshire, but our Company has an operational reach that extends throughout the UK.

We are seeking a bright, confident and talented individual with strong administration and organisational skills, and a methodical and logical approach.

You must be an excellent communicator, be able to multi-task and prioritise, work under pressure and have a meticulous eye for detail. You must be self-motivated with advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).

You will provide administrative support in

  • The collation and preparation of paperwork for our diverse range of projects and services.
  • Liaising with employees, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers to supply and obtain information.
  • Preparing and obtaining quotations, and where orders are placed, overseeing the administrative side of the works from start to finish.
  • Liaising with various authorities in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with the Site Management Team to provide support, obtain progress checks and respond to and resolve any operational issues.
  • Maintaining effective communication with all involved with our works.
  • Ensuring that our excellent standards of customer service are maintained.
  • Logging all communications using existing Company systems.

This will be a busy, varied and challenging role and candidates will need to show at least 2 years’ administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.

Health, Safety & Assets Co-Ordinator
Permanent, Full-Time Position
Circa £18,000 – £21,000 dependent on experience 

GPC74 is an expanding Company specialising in Construction, Retail Fit Out, Groundworks, Maintenance and Professional Services. You will be based at our brand new Head Offices in rural South Shropshire, but our Company has an operational reach that extends throughout the UK.

We are seeking a bright, confident and talented individual who has strong organisational skills and a methodical, logical approach.

You must be an excellent communicator, be able to multi-task, prioritise, work under pressure and have an eye for detail. You must be self-motivated and confident in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel), and an excellent team player.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Supporting the Health and Safety Manager in all administrative functions of the department
  • Liaising with sub-contractors for Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Conducting Utility Searches and creating plans for our Site Teams
  • Overseeing our Company Plant and Fleet
  • Overseeing our Company Training Plan
  • Maintaining stock of PPE and sourcing suppliers
  • Assisting with maintenance of Fire Safety Systems and Statutory Examinations
  • Accurate logging of works on in-house systems, in particular our Health & Safety Tracker
  • Overseeing the Company Asset Register
  • General administrative tasks in support of the Office team

A Health and Safety qualification or prior experience of a similar role would be highly advantageous, but not essential.

Maintenance Administrator
Permanent, Full-Time Position
Circa £16,000 – £18,000 dependent on experience

We deliver a high-quality service, to some of the best-known brands in the country and are seeking a bright, confident and talented individual, who has strong organisational skills and a methodical, logical approach, to join our team.

You will be based at our brand-new, award-winning Head Offices in rural South Shropshire, providing support to a client portfolio, which extends across the UK.

With excellent communication skills, you must be able to multi-task, prioritise, work under pressure and have an eye for detail. You must be self-motivated and an excellent team player and be confident in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word), with strong Excel skills.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Overseeing both regular and ad-hoc maintenance jobs, from quote to completion, on behalf of our clients, including emergency call outs;
  • Liaising with sub-contractors to obtain quotes, progress reports and technical information;
  • Sourcing new suppliers;
  • Liaising with our Clients regarding their maintenance jobs;
  • Compiling reports following maintenance works;
  • Pricing of maintenance works;
  • Accurate logging of works on in-house systems;
  • General administrative tasks in support of the Office team.

Flexibility to provide phone cover for emergency call outs at weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota will be essential, though we will provide all the tools to enable you to work remotely, from home. However, there may be a requirement in the future to be based at our Offices. Where this becomes a requirement, you will be given time off during the week to compensate.
