Vocational Training Centre Construction

Supporting and providing for local facilities is a core value of GPC74's works. An opportunity arose to act as principal contractor for a local school to construct a vocational training centre for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.

​Phase 1 of the project saw the removal of asbestos and the demolition of the former warehouse. Phase 2 is where GPC74’s expertise was fully utilised, with new below-ground drainage installed including new sewage treatment plant and the erection of new steelwork. Design and installation of custom doors and windows and the complete internal fit out were all delivered safely and efficiently during term time.

​The new facility has provided the school with a modern, spacious unit to provide specialist training and opportunities for the young people.
